Bugs by Brett is a fine-art macro photography project focused on the accurate documentation and presentation of insect specimens. The work emphasizes colour fidelity, material clarity, and controlled methodology, with careful respect for each subject’s structure, texture, and scientific heritage. Images are presented against neutral black grounds to isolate form and surface, allowing fine structural detail to be examined without distraction. All works are produced using high-resolution medium-format Phase One camera systems with archival longevity as a primary consideration.
